| On the first Thursday in the first full week of May(annually), we celebrate Arbor Day to acknowledge the environmental and economic importance of trees.
Representatives from Weyerhaeuser, Canfor, Ainsworth; Alberta Sustainable Resource Development and Rotary offer 20 - 30 minute presentations to all Grade 1 classes in the City of Grande Prairie, and the surrounding areas within the Grande Priarie school district.. Presentations are usually done n the morning. (About 1800 seedlings are provided annually to Grade one students.) Please complete the Arbor Day Registration form and return to us by 5th of April.
